Our Story
Hi! I'm Allison,
Nurse, Mom, Lifelong Dog Lover and Founder of Besdee Dog Co.
Besdee began right here on Kauai, inspired by my two great loves: my family (human and furry) and the island we call home.
When I became a new mom, I started paying closer attention to the products I was using around my kids and dogs. What I found was frustrating - so many pet care items were packed with harsh ingredients and single-use plastics. Living in Hawaii, where the ocean is a part of daily life, I couldn't ignore the impact of the waste on our environment.
Then came the heartbreak of losing Mazi, my dog of 16 years. She was my shadow my comfort, my bestie. Creating Besdee became a way to honor her and build something better: clean, simple care that keeps pets healthy, homes safer, and the planet just a little greener.
